There is an Earth Education gathering (24th -26th March) that’s titled: a love affair with the Earth 2.

It’s taking place at Ringsfield Hall and, Earth Education says, is a great opportunity to find out more about what earth education has to offer your work, and to share with others what you and your team can contribute to this focussed approach to live more lightly on our planet.

“The keynote speaker for the weekend will be Mark Jefferys who is one of only three accredited Earth Education trainers in the UK.   He has over 30 years experience in environmental and earth education, teaching adults and children of all ages in the UK, Finland, Australia and America. He is passionate about bringing the natural world to life and reconnecting people with nature in creative ways.  A keen songwriter and guitarist, Mark often uses his music in environmental programmes.  Continuing on from our stimulating and enjoyable gathering in April 2016 this weekend will be suitable for teachers, social workers, environmental educators, conservationists, outdoor activity leaders, bushcrafters, permaculture enthusiasts and many more.  An exciting addition is the inclusion of a one-day Institute for Earth Education Workshop (www.eartheducation.org  for those who have not already attended an “official” Institute for Earth Education workshop.  This is being offered at a very low price as part of this weekend event. An interesting alternative programme will be offered for those who have previously attended a workshop.”
