The Symposium will focus on the role of higher education institutions in addressing the mitigation and adaptation challenges and will contribute to the further development of this fast-growing field. It will involve researchers from many different disciplines. Further details can be seen here.
UK Permaculture Convergence – Ilkley, W Yorkshire, 2 to 4 September
With a focus on local projects and designs this year’s convergence will bring members old and new together to share, celebrate, network and learn. The World’s Largest Lesson – everywhere, 18 to 24 September
The World’s Largest Lesson is an excellent opportunity to teach a lesson or assembly about the Global Goals encouraging them to think about what they can do. We ask you to teach a lesson or assembly to your students, introducing or reminding them of the Global Goals and encouraging them to think about what they can do to help. Lots of resources available for different ages.
TEESNet Conference 2016: Monitoring and Evaluation in ESD and Global Citizenship – Liverpool, 21 September
The 2016 TEESNet (Teacher Education for Equity and Sustainability) conference will explore opportunities and challenges in monitoring and evaluation of education that supports people in leading fulfilling lives in a changing, globalised world.
