FACE has published its 2016 annual report. It is championing
- A better future for children – when children understand where the food they eat comes from and how much work goes into producing it they value it, which means they are less likely to waste it and more likely to invest in healthy options.
- A better future for farming – when children grow up understanding the scale and vibrancy of the farming industry they grow into adults who are more likely to support British agriculture, engage with topical debates and consider a career in the sector.
- A better future for our world – when we educate our children about where food comes from, we are creating a generation of informed citizens who are ready to approach the global challenges that threaten their future, such as food insecurity and climate change.
