Countryside Classroom will be delivering a panel session at this year’s Telegraph Festival of Education taking place on 22-23 June.

The conference brings together education’s most forward-thinking advocates, practitioners of change and educators in one of the leading forums for thought leadership, CPD and debate. Dan Corlett, CEO of Countryside Classroom’s managing partner FACE , will lead a panel discussion around one of the key themes of this year’s festival: STEAM. Dan explains, ‘We convinced the organisers that food, farming and the natural environment cut across all aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths’.

Dan Corlett will also be a keynote speaker at the inaugural School Farm Network Education Alliance Conference  on 30 June-1 July.

Dan will discuss farm education in the contemporary education landscape and demonstrate why farm education remains important for pupils. The conference is aimed at school managers, senior leaders, governors, teachers and parents who are interested in providing hands-on learning environments to enhance teaching and learning, raise attainment, and support pupils to access and succeed in the land-based industry.
