8908793_masterbsalogo_fullcolour_pngThe British Science Association website has a new look.  The BSA, well known for its CREST awards.  You can read about a recent celebration of school awards at Buckingham Palace.  On Tuesday 27 June, students from three local schools were invited to the special, science-themed launch party at the Palace.  They met the BSA’s new Royal Patron, HRH The Duke of York, and took part in hands-on science activities, including live demonstrations from TV science presenter and Great British Science Club Ambassador, Fran Scott.

It’s easy to create a CREST account, and you can access all the resources to run Star and SuperStar challenges on the website.  Once your group has completed their Award they receive a certificate and iron-on fabric badge to recognise and reward their achievement.  If you complete activities with your student group and register online before 31 August, you will get two sheets of 15 stickers for you to use with your student group.
