A Focus on Nature is a network of young conservationists which sets out to inform wider nature conservation debates by offering a new perspective on environmental issues, providing young nature conservationists with access to opportunities, and promoting nature conservation and natural history to young people. They will be speaking at the forthcoming CLOtC conference on the 24th of November.
In July, a FoN published a report: Vision for Nature which set out its aims for the future of the natural environment. One of its recommendations is that 20% of the primary curriculum should take place outside.
This seems a modest proposal.
