Windscreen has announced the nominees for the Wildscreen Panda Awards – aka the ‘Green Oscars’.
A total of 43 films (whittled down from 900 entries) remain in the race for 20 trophies. The Hunt leads the pack with six nominations followed closely by Jago: A Life Underwater, with five nominations, and Racing Extinction, with four nominations.
Panda Award winners will be announced as part of the next Wildscreen Festival, in Bristol, from 10 – 14 October 2016. The announcements will be made at the awards ceremony taking place at the Colston Hall on Thursday 13 October. Tickets are on sale now.
