The Global Learning Programme website says:
We’ve collated a selection of resources and CPD to support your teaching around environmental issues and sustainability. The theme for World Environment Day 2017, ‘Connecting People to Nature’, implores us to get outdoors and into nature, to appreciate its beauty and its importance, and to take forward the call to protect the Earth that we share. Explore sustainability and the environment across the curriculum with the free sustainability resources brought to you by the Global Learning Programme (GLP). Our collection of resources to support the Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) also provides an opportunity to investigate our impact on the environment and the challenges that we face.
Visit the GLP website for more curriculum-based resources for science, geography and other subjects, and take a look at some of the videos and case studies produced by schools registered for the GLP. The Global Dimension website lists a wide range of resources covering these issues, including a new Global Food Security resource for Key Stages 2 and 3 developed by the British Council, and a global design challenge from Practical Action for Key Stage 3 pupils.
