The Women’s Environment Network [WEN] is launching a new series of events and seminars in 2017. The WEN FORUM, a quarterly symposium, will feature key note speakers discussing topics of the moment. These collaborative sessions will be inspiring, topical and, they say: “sometimes controversial!”. Their first subject is:
What Feminism got to do with the Environment?
It’s on Thursday 26th January 2017, 6.30pm-9.30pm at the London School of Economics. Tickets are now available on Eventbrite, with a reduced fee for WEN members, and a reduced early bird ticket now available for £7.
Speakers
Natalie Bennett, Former party leader of the Green Party (keynote speaker)
Craig Bennett, CEO at Friends of the Earth
Lucy Bushill-Matthews, CEO at Muslim Action for Development and Environment
Marylin Haines Evans, Public Affairs Chair, National Federation of Women’s Institutes
