Environmental and sustainability education policy research

To mark the environmental and sustainability education research network’s participation in the ECER conference, the leading academic journal Environmental Education Research has developed a Virtual Special Issue focusing on studies of ESE policy.  To access the VSI, please click here.
This on key examples of research on this topic from the past two decades of papers in the Journal, for three reasons.

1. to provide readers with a series of snapshots into the genealogy of ESE policy research in this field.
2. to encourage renewed attention to previously published work.
3. to offer commentary on the evolution of research trends, approaches and findings.

In so doing, the VSI also illuminates the heart of ECER2015’s conference theme, “Education and Transition: Contributions from Educational Research”, and the research and scholarship of Network 30, focused as it is on Environmental and Sustainability Education.
